My beautiful mare has struggled with ulcers for years. She arrived at HaH last year in foal, and as a chronic wind sucker.
We have tried it all with her. She is still currently on mass amounts of food - 6kg 13% and 1kg balancer as well as 4 kg Lucerne In the morning and a 5kg haynet at night, with veld grazing during the day, but looks like shortly the concentrates can be dropped down
We contacted Solara and she was kind enough to donate 2 tubs to us and I bought 2 additional tubs.
The results are mind blowing after only a month…..
We have now managed to stop the wind sucking without the use of collars etc, she is gaining very noticeable weight daily, and we are now able to start light work with her ever 2nd day. She is no longer girthy and fidgety when tacked up and her beautiful summer coat has just popped right out
